Hi all Academy players, with the World Cup starting today in South Africa, you will have an excellent opportunity chance to watch and learn from watching games at the highest level what the game is all about – technically, tactically and physically.
Make sure you can record as many games as possible because I am going to ask you questions at our training sessions during the World Cup weeks – and who gets the most correct answers will win a prize !

It is time to push yourself !

Hi to all players from Olympic Park and Narrabeen.
It is nearly the end of the championship season but it is time to push yourself to improve further. As you know as in Europe we keep it going with training session throughout the year and we will organise friendly games and maybe some tournament in the off season if we get the chance.
I was really pleased to see 7 of the Milan Soccer School coaches attend the 3 day Italian coaching seminar held in Narrabeen by Renzo Ulieri, Maurizio Viscidi, Francesco Perondi and Raffaele Pilato from the Italian Football Association.
Therefore I am really looking forward to see how much improving you can get in another 5 months.
The secret is: "Never stop to have soccer training"

Well done players from Narrabeen !

Hi all players from Narrabeen,
Today I started to see better soccer. Finally during the game I saw players running and trying to do their best. That’s the way it should be at all training sessions, so make sure you can spend the energy at the right time!
In addition I have observed that players were more careful with the equipment at the end of the session which is a good sign as well.
Let’s see if we can continue to do better next time!

Hi all,
An important reminder to all players who play for our Academy teams on weekends.
Please ensure that if for whatever reason you cannot make your weekend game – please inform your Team Manager or Coach by Friday 9.00pm at the very latest.
Many thanks

Message to all Players and Parents

Hi Players and Parents,
From now on I would like to see:
- Parents – a reminder – please do not come on the field during the training sessions !
- Players – do not be late for your session. If you arrive early, go to play soccer tennis in the right space. Shooting and running around is unacceptable as it disturbs players from the previous group.
- Every player must help to collect all the equipment on the field at the end of the session. Remember to please take care of the equipment, we have already lost many things!

Extra effort, great result

Hi Guys,
I was coaching the 99 and 2000 team last Saturday and to be honest I did not expect this team to play as well as it did - especially after only 2 months training with the Academy . We were short one player and as a result we had to change our system of play.
Everybody pushed themselves hard and started to understand how much effort they have to put into the game if you do not want to lose. After the game I had to congratulate all the players because they followed all my tactics and suggestions. The final score was 2-2 with Michael Van Walsum scoring twice and all the team playing a good game.
It’s really important that players inform me as soon as possible if they are unable to attend a ANY match so that I can make the necessary changes to the formation. I also noticed that some players didn’t have everything they needed for the match – please don’t forget to take responsibility to prepare properly before every game and to arrive well prepared.
Ciao, Andrea
